Social Media Management

Social media has become a crucial part of company voice, branding and marketing.  I have been lucky to have the opportunity to manage, develop and implement campaigns, make long-term and seasonal plans and policies covering all social media platforms for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.  I started the university Instagram page back in 2013 and have gained 10k + followers over the years. Below is a feed of that Instagram account. I create, plan and design graphics, shoot video and photos and create the soundtracks for Instagram, Instagram Stories, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat and TikTok. On top of this, I manage analytics and metrics and try to keep up with the latest trends for all of these platforms as well.

In 2020 the popularity of TikTok exploded and I’ve spent the majority of 2021 trying to decipher what works best on this platform for a university. It has been a challenge, but a fun one. The page has grown from 0-700+ in less than a year and myself and several student employees create regular video content.
